laozi-cli began with a simple problem: elders receive health hoaxes, pseudo-science, and scam messages every day, but it is surprisingly hard to explain the red flags clearly and calmly.
Why a CLI
Because a CLI is lightweight, direct, and easy to integrate into local workflows. You can run it with zero config, or wire it into your own scripts and support flows.
Design principles
Local-first, progressively enhanced, bilingual by default, and easy to reuse. The tool should not only say “this is not credible,” but also explain why in a family-safe tone.
